Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh real Monster!Monster! Yes, Yes, Yes. We think we have found the Golden Goose here, and its been shitting gold eggs all over the place. Monster! Monster! is a cutting edge live electronic act from the West Midlands, making dirty bass from gameboys and other seemingly innocuous kids’ toys. Otherwise known to friends and family as Rob Ogden, he is a 21 year old producer delivering gutter filth dubstep, incorporating elements of house and bassline with 8bit vibes, giving a glitchy new life to forgotten battery powered handheld devices and old school games consoles.
Monster! Monster! has brought his glitchy music to audiences and venues across the UK with an electric and strobe drenched one man live show, playing alongside heavy hitters such as Tek-One, Plastician and Casiokid. Support from the BBC will see Monster! Monster! performing on the Introducing Stage at this year’s Nozstock Festival, opening for Sicknote.
The new double A Side ‘Batteries Not Included’ dropped on the 18th of June as a physical release and will be available as a digital download from iTunes, Amazon and other online retailers on the 23rd of August. The CD is now on sale at the Monster! Monster! Store
