I was browsing through the never ending mess that is my email account and i found something that caught my eye. A mention in regards to a person called DotEXE. Now, initially i knew nothing about this person, or persons, however after a small dig around the internet, i was fortunate enough to find some delightful informations on the one they call DotEXE. He, being, Scott Jackson Stanley, is a 20 year old producer from Chicago, that is all! Not much info, but when you have power like this, information is second class.

Eptic is one of my favorite artists. I say this a lot, but Michaël Eptic Bella is by far one of the most talented and sickeningly awesome artists that the Dubstep scene has. I remember a few years back when we thought we would have money, we tried to sign him as our one and only artist, however the beautiful gents over at Chronos Records have done the right thing by him. They have given him a home, shelter and a place to lay his filthy head.

Eptic has such a special sound, a sound that can only be described as “pure ear bliss”. He has the sharpest synths, the deepest lows, and the most gut slicingly brutal compositions. He is a true master of the Dark Arts, and his cauldron has been bubbling with delicacies that only the land that brought you Hercule Poirot could bring.

I keep on saying this and i know you know, but Belgium is currently one of the Filthyest places in the world for Dubstep, and in my opinion, Eptic is the beating heart and throbbing balls that have given birth to the likes of point.blank, dux and a few others, even though they may not know it or admit it. He has had me in a Dubstep orgasm since i first heard his filth, and he never seems to disappoint us.

Then take out that smoldering pie of filth and slice yourself a big old chunk, sit down in that office chair your in and prepare to have your flavour buds set alight. Take time to read the bio’s we have for each artist, you’ll feel like you have known them for years.

Halo Nova, known to his mates as, Nick Pittsinger. This 21 year old electronic music producer is from Tampa, Florida, USA. Nick has been surrounded by music since he was a child, being raised on jazz, metal and video game music. At the age of 14 he took up playing piano seriously and started learning music theory with a concentration in jazz. It was only at age 18 that Nick started to produce music, starting off with ambient music and eventually winding up at dubstep. He also composes soundtracks to video games and films as his main passion.

Not even a year into existence, Halo Nova has gained an immense amount of noteriety. His debut EP reached #34 in the Beatport dubstep charts and let the world know how serious he was. So far in 2011 alone, he has done an EP for Ultragore, Betamorph, and Abducted Records. He has also done singles for Play Me, Dub Cartel, and Filthy Digital Recordings. His music is played out by the likes of Skrillex, Nero, Propa Tingz, Dirty Talk, Antiserum, Helicopter Showdown and more.

And, as something you will have to get used to. Our close friend Jake Kelly, would like to add his thoughts: Halo Nova – The intro can only be describe as a colossal space marauding masterpiece of beautiful synth work, drums of epic proportion and ambience beyond all conceivable thought. The main body of Cosmica features around heavy lead synths and a space time violin sound that gives it an “orchestra fighting aliens in a battle to the death” feel. As always, great work from Halo Nova. Cop this and spin it to great effect.

And now a chunk for Sidedraft:

Sidedraft is a 27 year-old Producer and DJ from Tampa, Fl who has been honing his war chest of audio weapons for the past 3 years. His love of all things bass related began much earlier however after picking up a copy of Photek’s timeless album Form & Function some 13 years ago.

Around 2006, he stumbled upon a little mentioned genre (in his neck of the woods) called Dubstep in the form of releases by such legends as Skream and Loefah. From that point it wasn’t just about listening to the music, it was about spreading the sound to any and all who would listen through DJ’ing at the legendary night Turbo Tuesday, the original and longest running dubstep weekly in the Tampa Bay area. Sidedraft‬ has been producing for less than a year and has made great strides in polishing his sound employing FL Studio. Taking influence from a multitude of genres and sounds, Sidedraft is sure to be a name to keep an eye on now and into the future, wherever the bass may take us.

Sorry to be boring with the infill text for this, i want to write loads about how sick Vaski is, and how we have featured him a few times on the site. Unfortunately, the track was so sick that i went on a killing spree and have been locked up.

So this post and message is from an underground server deep within the basement of the darkest, most hellish jail you could imagine. Im powering my macbook from a crude potato/lemon battery and getting a 56kbps connection from a modem plugged into a coal burning furnace. Self written Bio:

“Ashes began producing back in ’99 after installing Fruity Loops. Excited by the prospect of being able to produce music, he was eager to learn all he could. He began with Trance started building a foundation of knowledge and experience that would carry into his future projects. After attending a rave and hearing Freeform (Trancy Hardcore) he bumped the BPM up in his productions from 140 to 175 and started DJing. After hearing so many breakbeat breakdown in Hardcore, Ashes began stumbling upon hard and dark Drum and Bass. DnB had the same hard bass but with beats that could be twisted and mangled into all kinds of amazing patterns. The switch from Hardcore to Drum and Bass gave Ashes a new appreciation for breakbeats and he was hooked – making anything from hip hop to big beat to ragga jungle.

As good as Drum and Bass was Ashes was starting to get bored and needing something new. Dubstep was all the fad but he couldn’t stand 99% of it until he heard the smash hit Drumstick by Giant. After hearing it, he decided he would try his hand at a remix/cover. Once finished, he had a new appreciation for Dubstep and slowly started finding more and more tunes that he loved. Now he regularly plays and produces both Dubstep and DnB.

Ashes is a graduate of T.A.R.A. (The Audio Recording Academy) Ottawa and offers mastering services at affordable prices. He also runs an Ableton production workshop teaching both new and experienced producers.

This track was uploaded to the internet about a week ago, so im pretty sure you will have all heard it or know of it.

But for those of you who are completely in the black about this one, we present you with a little slice of heaven, courtesy of Mr. Dan Diesel himself. He is a wonderful man with a heart for Dubstep that beats harder and faster than yours. He is also a cunning trickster of the senses and a devilish twiddler of the buttons. All of these things smashed together one day to create what you hear before you.
